@TheBigN: Wow, I stepped right into that one. XD Next time I'll have to be careful when I replace all instances of "Bamboo Blade" with "Tama-chan".

And it's probably for the better that it's not all Tama-centric, 1) so I don't turn into a crazy raving fanboy and 2) because a lot of the other characters show merit too.

@IKnight: I might as well face it: I'm a moe masochist.

New stuff (relatively, anyway) is what I would prefer from KyoAni in the end, too. Will have to do some research on directors / scriptwriters / etc. following your post about focusing on those instead of the studios (guilty as charged; although KyoAni is the only one I consistently notice).

@Jobrill: I've heard good things about "Dark" Miya Miya (let's not discuss how nice characters turning evil is so entertaining to fanboys), although Dan ... the short guy with the funny head? We'll see...

@Baka-Raptor: Zing indeed. That would be interesting to see a community reaction too, since that show was so polarizing. Too bad April 1st is 359 days away...

Also, supposedly there were some good scenes we missed from Lucky Star the manga (and by good scenes, I mean scenes of merit involving Miyuki), so I could almost make a half-arsed legitimate case for this.

Dan-kun and Miya Miya >>>>>>>>>> Tama-chan. Though she's pretty awesome too. :)

Tama-chan is a pure beam of moe directed at one's forebrain with the force of a thousand melting fanboys.

I don't know about remakes by Kyoto Animation. I'd like to see Ishihara continue to adapt visual novels and Haruhi, since he's evidently so good at it. Kyoto doing mecha would be interesting, though, since The Second Raid is good stuff.

Why is captcha so cultured? Today it's giving me 'Toscanini'.

"Although, I worry that I might be obsessing a bit about some parts of Tama-chan."

This makes me laugh. One thing I like about Bamboo Blade is that it isn't all about Tama, which is a nice relief for me as I'm not quite as enamored with her as it seems that everyone else is. :P
