At the rate things are going, I don’t think I can have pretenses any more.
Maybe you’ve read my previous post trying to hype Shiori Misaka of Kanon for ISML 2009. I’ve decided to do all I can to help her for one round, and anything I do, I want to do with my whole heart.
And my heart isn’t satisfied yet with the response I’ve gotten, so if you’re tired of my fanboy posts yet, please just bear with me for another 8 hours.
But yeah, if you’re here, you like Kanon. And if you like Kanon, you probably don’t hate Shiori. And if you don’t hate Shiori, you can probably click that link at the top of the page to the International Saimoe League voting arena to help give Shiori a little boost in her chances to meet up with all the other Key characters you probably know and love (if you’re here).
It’s a piece of cake, really. Click the button next to Shiori, pick three other characters, and then you can move on with your day. And you’ll have helped someone who’s gone a bit too crazy for the last 16 hours.

Well tagged sir. You are going crazy, that’s what! Don’t worry, I’ll be jumping off the deep end soon enough, once the regular season gets going and Rin will need support. At that time, I will fight furiously, even if it’s against this Shiori character, in order to get Rin into the winner’s circle! :p
But I have to wonder, is there a way to see the results as they’re happening? You make it sound as if you can tell she’s not winning or something, but I can’t see anything there. Or is that just more of your incredible insanity in trying to get her in? :p

Actually, there isn’t a way to see live results (that would be a big change in dynamics, honestly, because then you would see a lot of reversals, voting against the leader), but … you ever get a bad premonition?
I’ve canvassed more than a few places and response has been lukewarm at best, which makes me really wonder how many people I’ve gotten to vote. :X I think I need to pull about 40 or 50 people out of my hat, so I need to try really hard.
Plus, I figure, if I’m going to do something, I should give 100% with my efforts, so I’m not going to give up any opportunity I get, nor take any chances myself. If I fail, I want to fail having tried my hardest. :D

There’s a voice in my head telliing me that, after 2 years, Kanon will no longer appeal to me, but since Air still won me over, I would probably enjoy a rewatch. I need to do it sometime.
