@Those fooled: My plan was to start with the most plausible fake headlines and slowly devolve into utter ridiculousness. I’m not sure how well that scale went, as it sort of ended up with a bunch of real-sounding ones and two / three absolutely insane ones, but I don’t mind.

@Impz: Needed a picture of someone laughing, who else would be the go-to girl than a girl nicknamed LOL FANG-TAN? :D

@Nekonron: I’ve fallen out of Minami-ke during the second season…not sure if that’s the fault of me vs. slice-of-life or Asread’s adaptation, but I don’t know if I’d actually watch Minami 3. I think KyoAni has better things to do than make moe traps. XD

@Ojamajo: Who knows… I think the U.S. is past their magical girl days, but if those shows ever make a revival in the States I think SC! will be near the top of the list. Hopefully not before it finishes airing though. XD

@IKnight / koneko-chan: Shuffle Days first started out as a Sekai path School Days adaptation, but silly 0verflow took it, so I merged it with a fake announcement for a Really? Really! anime, and, well, hilarity ensued, or whatnot. Had far too much fun with Shuffle Days, might have to make it a blog in-joke.

- Da Capo III, featuring an even larger time jump (too out there, not enough funny potential)
- Controversy over Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei merchandise, such as authentic noose (not enough time)
- sola visual novel (laziness)
- Shakugan no Shana III (this one’s probably going to happen)
- Lucky Star, season 2 (would have been good for getting a reaction as a lead-off … oh well)

The April Fools Fun continues tommorow, as I don’t have enough energy to finish off tonight what I had in connection with the new “Sidetracked by Shiori” theme. I’m sure late afternoon April 2nd is still April 1st somewhere. XD

Way to bring me up and put me down with the Haruhi 2. But at least you reminded me that today is April Fools Day (at 6am nonetheless). An early enough reminder that I have to keep an eye on everyone in the office today.

I LOL’ed pretty hard on the Shuffle Days. Happy April Fools’ Day!
