		<description>&lt;em&gt;Kaiji&lt;/em&gt; 20 hasn&#039;t faded on me yet, possibly because I&#039;m still enjoying the fact that he CUT OFF HIS FREAKING EAR. I suspect that, as you say, it doesn&#039;t quite stand up to close scrutiny, but it was such a thrill ride that I&#039;m prepared to put that aside. At least we&#039;re seeing commendable variation, from the browbeaten-but-analytical Kaiji of the Espoir, through the physically and morally courageous Kaiji on the Brave Men Road to the slightly insane, nothing-to-lose, Slave vs. Emperor Kaiji of E-Card. My bet&#039;s on Kaiji losing his ear permanently, though. 

Also, I love the rollover titles on the images in this entry.</description>
